Same central seatbelt issue affects both commercial vans

Peugeot-Expert-recall
There is a recall notice for the Peugeot Expert, as well as the Citroen Dispatch KO

Fresh from bringing its two brands together in tackling the Australia market, Peugeot-Citroen is dealing with a product recall affecting one van each – the MY 2018-19 Peugeot Expert and MY 2018 Citroen Dispatch KO.

The issue is the same for both: the front central passenger seat belt could unclip from the buckle when braking or avoiding obstacles.

"If the front central passenger buckle unclips, the seat belt would not secure the passenger in the event of sudden braking or an accident, and there is a risk of serious injury," the notices reads.

All known owners of the 69 Peugeots and 17 Citroens are to be contacted and advised to present their vehicle to their preferred authorised dealer "to have the centre seat belt buckle modified with heat shrink sleeve and a foam pad".
