The heavy telescopic handler (HTH) series from Italian equipment group Magni is aimed at the construction and mining sectors. The Magni 10.10 is considered the baby of the HTH range, but the company says the 10.10 makes no compromises on safety or performance.

Weighing in at 13.9 tonnes and measuring 5.7m from nose to tail, the 10.10 has a 4.73m turning radius and just under 40cm of ground clearance.

The Magni 10.10 telehandler has a 10-tonne load capacity, 10m lift height and 5m forward reach, and is available with a variety of attachments including winches, platforms, lifting jibs, buckets, fork positioners and side shifts.

These attachments can be easily swapped using the 10.10’s quick-fit coupling system. Once an attachment is fitted, the coupling system uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) to automatically recognise the attachment and adjusts load limits accordingly.

The telehandler is powered by a 100kW Deutz turbo-diesel intercooled engine pushing out 500Nm of torque. It has a tilting rear axle, hydraulic servo-assisted multi-disc brakes and a drawbar pull of 88kN.

The variable load-sensing hydrostatic transmission has full-time 4WD, two speed ranges in both forward and reverse, integrated crab mode and maximum speed of 40km/h.

The fully ROPS/FOPS cab has a large, panoramic windshield with a clear line of sight to the load, a movable steering column and central heating/cooling. The entire machine can be controlled through a touchscreen display as well as standard joystick controls.
