Deutz Australia’s new Deutz Drive engine package is a ‘plug-and-play’ unit that can be put straight to work in a variety of agricultural and industrial applications with a minimum of fuss.
It comes complete with mounting feet, engine mounted exhaust system, muffler and air cleaner, and a wide selection of engine control panels.
This means the engine package is able to run stationary machinery ‘out of the box’ and is easily transferred from one machine to another.
The company says the Deutz Drive system was developed after consultation with customers and has been designed locally and specifically for the Australian market and conditions.
The Deutz Drive engines are based on the 912 and 914 series for air cooled engines, the 2011 series for air-oil cooled, and the 1013 series for water cooled models. They have been designed for low fuel consumption, long oil change intervals and low maintenance.
Deutz Australia managing director Craig Chamberlin says the new engine package design is easier to use across various platforms and applications.
“Our customers told us that they wanted a product that was more cost-effective, simpler and easier to use, so we listened and developed a plug and play option which customers can customise to meet their specific needs,” he says.
“Essentially we are supplying a product that doesn’t have to re-engineered or require extra money to be outlaid to ensure our customers end up with the product they need.
“Deutz Drive takes all the hassle and cost away by allowing customers to couple our engine to their stationary platform, quickly and efficiently.”
Deutz says the product accounts for both form and function, with long-term durability beneath a “slick, sophisticated and compact” design.
