The new range comprises the compact Genie GTH-2506 and the high-reach Genie GTH-4014 and GTH-4018 telehandlers.

Terex Aerial Work Platforms Australia engineering manager Mike Randle says each model offers the high quality that customers expect from Genie to support their needs in the construction, waste handling, recycling, industrial and logistics sectors.

A key improvement Genie made to the new range is adding Stage IIIB engines which are more efficient and environmentally friendly.

All models feature increased lifting heights and better load lifting.

The Genie GTH-2506 compact telehandler provides a lifting height of up to 5.79m, a maximum lifting capacity of 2,500kg and a lifting capacity of 2,000 kg at maximum height.

“Thanks to its compact dimensions, this machine is particularly well-suited to perform a wide range of indoor and outdoor construction, renovation, masonry, landscaping and industrial tasks,” Randle says.

The two high-reach models, the Genie GTH-4014 and GTH-4018, offer lifting heights of up to 13.57m and 17.61m; a maximum lifting capacity of 4,000kg; and a lifting capacity of 3,000kg and 2,000 kg respectively at maximum height.

Genie says the machines’ long reach, ideal outside turning radius, machine width and excellent driveability allow operators to carry out construction tasks up to five or six floors high with ease or execute jobs such as masonry in confined spaces without issues.

Genie has also redesigned the cabs to offer optimum comfort to the operator. Some optional and standard in-cab features include an air suspension seat, improved joystick ergonomics, a tinted top view front window, a large glove box and manual holder inside the door, as well as a repositioned air conditioning duct.

New control features include an electrically controlled parking brake activated via a switch on the dashboard for excellent braking efficiency.

Another upgrade on the new range is the addition of a fully integrated load management system featuring a 7-inch colour display and dynamic load chart with reversing camera and optional forward and side cameras.

The machines also offer several small but useful improvements such as rubber or steel mudguards; a toughened spring back and folding rear view mirror; and tough steel-protected front and rear lights.

The valve bank, fuel tank, radiator, filters and greasing points are all positioned within easy reach for servicing and maintenance purposes. Hydraulic boom greasing points are also simple to access.

The engine covers have been designed to open at just the right angle for comfortable access during inspections and maintenance.

Genie uses common components and accessories utilised across its entire range in the three new machines to make replacing parts easier. In addition, storage costs are reduced and technical training is streamlined.
