Hard Yakka has released the new 3056 range of workwear, saying its inspiration came from early 20th century designs and the company’s roots in the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick — which has the 3056 postcode.
“The new 3056 summer range combines the toughness of yesteryear with the form and functionality required from today’s hard-working tradies, through a range of jeans, shorts, shirts, Ts and footwear,” the company says.
The 3056 Denim Long Sleeved Shirt (RRP $59.99) is a narrow-fit stretch shirt that’s designed to be worn as a layering piece. It can be worn unbuttoned with tee or as a stand-alone product.
It has multiple utility pockets, including large, oversized chest pockets with side entry, triple needle stitching to reinforce key areas and studs on the sleeves to ensure there’s no catch hazard.
The 3056 Working Class Hero boots (RRP $160) are made from water-resistant, full-grain Nubuck leather with SRC-rated outsole for maximum slip and a steel-toe cap. They’re available in black and Nuback leather.
Since it’s shorts-wearing season, the 3056 Denim Shorts (RRP $59.99) have been well-timed.
The mid-thigh-length shorts are made of stretch jean for comfort and movement, with polyester content for added strength, and feature an old-school jean button fly.
Besides the front, fob and reinforced, oversized back pockets, the shorts also have a ruler pocket, a mobile phone/tool pocket and pen partitions.
Rounding out the range are the 3056 Crew Neck T-Shirt (RRP $24.99) and 3056 Denim Jeans (RRP $79.99), which Hard Yakka says is engineered to fit your body shape.
