One company which is using the new power-steering-equipped Crown PE 4500 Series is Henningsen Cold Storage, which is one of the largest public refrigerated warehousing companies in the United States.

The company’s operators use the rider pallet forklifts for low-level order picking applications, as well as loading and unloading trailers on the dock and moving products to and from cold storage.

“The Crown PE 4500 Series with power steering helps us get the job done more efficiently, and we really appreciate the quality and durability of this pallet truck,” Henningsen engineering services manager Pete Lepschat says.

“Crown’s power steering provides a more consistent feel and better control throughout the entire range of travel speeds,” he adds. “This helps operators feel more confident and saves them from using their whole body to manipulate and turn the pallet truck.
