Lifting equipment specialist Skyreach has introduced the new Skyjack SJ45T 4WD telescopic boom lift to the Melbourne market.
The company says the boom lift, which features a working height of 15.77m and horizontal reach of 12.12m, is ideally suited to the warehouse and concrete tilt up market in Melbourne.
According to Skyreach, a significant benefit of the new Skyjack SJ45T is the 4WD drive, all terrain system. The front axle has a limited slip differential while the rear axle utilises a ‘no-spin’ differential.
The machine is also able to move up a 45 degree incline which ensures the unit is able to operate on the most difficult work sites.
Skyreach Managing Director Rod Leech says the company decided to bring the Skyjack SJ45T into the Melbourne market because it believed the lift is ideally suited to Melbourne’s operating conditions.
“There are some very large warehouse projects being developed in Melbourne and the Skyjack SJ45T has excelled. It is driveable a full height, proving the ultimate in efficiency on the work site,” he says.
Skyreach adds the new boom lift is capable of working in different weather conditions whether it be under a hot sun or covered in water and mud, rendering it perfect for Melbourne’s constantly changing weather patterns.
Following the arrival of two Skyjack SJ45T booms in Melbourne, Skyreach has both units out on hire at the new Toll warehouse complex at Tullamarine.
The boom lift features direction-sensing drive and steer controls which ensures the lifts always drives and steers with respect of the operator rather than the orientation of the chassis.
