With hand and wrist injuries counting among the most common work-related injuries sustained in Australia, safety gear maker Elliotts has introduced an expanded range of G-Flex Technical Safety Gloves that have been certified by SAI Global to AS/NZS 2161.3:2005 Occupational protective gloves — Protection against mechanical risks.
“The G-Flex range of gloves has been improved and expanded,” Elliotts Managing Director Anthony Elliott says. “We have upgraded our Dynamax C5 Cut Resistant models, introduced specific gloves for the mining and oil-and-gas industries, and developed a unique K-Guard TPR Exoskeleton Armour for top-of-hand protection.”
Included in the new range are:
- G-Flex T-Touch IMPACT: A glove which incorporates a standard nylon liner and T-Touch coating with the added protection of the heat-bonded K-Guard TPR Exoskeleton Armour.
Elliotts says this glove is ideal for all applications where back-of-hand injuries are common, where protection is required from light nicks and cuts and where a high level of dexterity and sensitivity is needed, especially where grip is important in oily and greasy conditions.
Ideal for handling small parts and components, metals and glass industries, general assembly, machining, micro-engineering, tubes, tools and precision parts, automotive components, white and brown goods, painting, horticultural and maintenance tasks.

- G-Flex Roustabout: A unique glove offering Cut 5 resistance, a nitrile coating for oil and liquid resistance and a T-Touch coating grip. It’s particularly suited to oil and gas industry applications.
- G-Flex Roustabout IMPACT: This glove has all the features of the G-Flex Roustabout with the added protection of the K-Guard TPR Exoskeleton Armour.
