Manitou brings new MLT-X 627 farm loader to Australia
Manitou's new MLT-X 627 telescopic handler is designed specifically for rural and farming applications.

Manitou says the MLT-X 627 offers a range of key benefits including safety, productivity and cost efficiency when compared to tractor front end loaders.

Manitou Australia Managing Director Stuart Walker says the Manitou MLT-X 627 is a direct response to users’ need for a safe, robust, cost effective solution.

"The Manitou MLT-X 627 has a lift capacity of 2700kg and a lift height of nearly 6 metres," he says.

"It is compatible with a wide range of Manitou attachments, for a range of applications. When fitted with a general purpose Ag bucket the Manitou MLT-X 627 delivers 50 per cent greater productivity than a tractor front end loader and in today’s environment farmers need every advantage they can find."

Some features on the MLT-X 627 include:

  • Spacious operator’s air conditioned cab
  • Compact rear engine design for better visibility
  • 2700kg lift capacity, 5.5m lift height
  • Fast hydraulics and breakout force

Another prominent feature on the model is the JSM Joystick control which Manitou says is like a virtual extension of the operator’s arm. It comes standard on all models in the MLT range.

Two thumbwheels on the JSM controls the raising and lowering of the boom as well as digging and tipping.

Manitou says the JSM is developed in collaboration with a team of ergonomic experts. The curved form and alignment of the new control handle provides better support and positioning for the hand.

The MLT-X 627 is available through Manitou’s wide network of dealers in the country. Locate your nearest dealer on the Manitou Australia website.
