Materials handling businesses Lencrow and SureSweep have released the SM900 pedestrian sweeper featuring a strong vacuum system and compact size allowing for cleaning in tight spaces.
Lencrow says the battery vacuum on the sweeper improves dust
control and reduces the discharge of dust and finer particles back
into the environment.
According to Lencrow, the unit’s robust construction makes the
machine virtually indestructible. The dirt collection hopper is
made from high density rust free plastic and has a generous 50
litre capacity.
The sweeper’s Twin Rolling System (TRS) brushes are made with
long life polyamide brushes, making rubbish collection highly
effective. The unit has a 900mm sweep path with two side brooms,
allowing the unit to operate 3150 sqm/hour.
The SM900 is also smooth-running and manoeuvrable, allowing it
to run on all types of surfaces including concrete, asphalt, carpet
and vinyl.
Lencrow Sweeper Consultant Wally Bowkun says the unit is
suitable for use in small to medium retail sites like hardware
stores, bulk outlets, schools and sporting complexes.
“Sites where dust would be a problem to stock and environment
air quality,” he adds.
