ForkForce brings 12-tonne Maximal fork lift to Australia

Chinese brand Maximal's 12 tonne fork lift will make its debut in Australia come June via ForkForce Australia.

Queensland based forklift dealer ForkForce Australia has responded to increasing demands for larger fork lifts by announcing the launch of the Maximal 12-tonne fork lift in the Australian market.

The Chinese brand’s current diesel fork lift range features 1
to10-tonne fork lifts as well as its 14 to 32-tonne lift truck
models. The introduction of the 12-tonner fills the gap between the
10-tonne and 14-tonne fork lifts.

ForkForce Director Adrian Martin points out that “it’s a massive
jump between the 10-tonne and the 14-tonne fork lift, not just in
physical size and lift capacity, but in dollar value as well”.

“ForkForce has identified that the 12-tonne fork lift will fill
that niche nicely in the Australian market and better suit
customers who are looking for the exact fork lift size for their
needs. There aren’t too many competitors in this size range and
after discussing it with Maximal, the latter has agreed to develop
the 12-tonne diesel fork lift for us,” he says.

The fork lift will initially come with a 600mm load centre and
is in production at the moment, but will be available in June.

While a few brand-new units will be shipped in and kept on stock
for sale, ForkForce has also ordered a number of these larger-sized
fork lifts to replace some of the older equipment in its rental
fleet, which will also create a good buying opportunity for those
looking for a used 12-tonne fork lift.

The new fork lifts will come with fully air-conditioned cabins,
quality engines and superior transmissions.

Forkforce promises to offer the new models at a competitive
price, in line with the company’s vision to provide
value-for-money, fit-for-purpose material handling equipment to its
customers.

The waiting period for large fork lifts ordered from other
dealers often takes more than nine months, but ForkForce hopes to
offer drastically reduced lead times so customers aren’t kept
waiting by pre-ordering these bigger fork lifts and keeping them in
stock.

Heavy-duty Maximal fork lifts are beginning to build a
reputation in the Australian market. With their quality diesel
engines, axles and transmissions, ForkForce has had these fork
lifts working hard in their own hire fleet and the company have
been happy with their performance so far.

Despite the fact these machines are yet to arrive, ForkForce has
already taken a number of orders which is a clear sign of the
market’s growing acceptance of these Chinese fork lifts.
