Bobcat Forklifts’ new lithium-ion three-wheel range has been launched in Australia, addressing a market demand for compact performance
The exclusive Australian distributor of Bobcat Forklifts, Lift Equipt, has launched a new compact lithium-ion three-wheel forklift range engineered for tight local warehouse and logistics environments.
The Bobcat BNT Series – available in B16NT, B18NT and B20NT models – has been developed with end-user feedback to meet the demands of real-world Australian applications.
Lift Equipt says the three-wheel forklift range is purpose-built for confined environments where compact dimensions and precise manoeuvrability have a direct impact on productivity.
The reduced wheelbase and three-wheel configuration deliver agility in tight aisles and congested layouts. With a tight turning radius and optimised wheelbase geometry, Lift Equipt adds the BNT Series can comfortably operate in narrow racking systems, restricted picking zones and inside shipping containers where larger forklifts lose efficiency.
Powered by advanced LFP lithium-ion technology, the BNT Series achieves a full charge in approximately two to three hours.
The high-speed charging system reduces charging time by up to 40 percent, supporting opportunity charging during breaks and shift changes and eliminating the need for battery swaps.
An integrated battery management system ensures reliable operation, including in cold storage and freezer applications.
Safety features on the forklift models include the Bobcat Guardian Safety System incorporating automatic speed reduction when cornering, anti-roll back protection, operator sensing and electronic parking brake functionality, which is suited to busy warehouse and logistics environments.
The lithium-ion battery is maintenance-free, and simplified service access with centralised electrical components help reduce downtime and operating costs.
Lift Equipt national sales and dealer manager Tim Worcester says the BNT Series addresses a clear demand in the Australian market.
“The Bobcat Forklifts BNT Series is all about compact performance,” Worcester says.
“Australian warehouses are under pressure to maximise every square metre, and this machine delivers the reduced wheelbase and tight turning capability needed to operate efficiently in restricted spaces.
“It gives customers a genuine compact solution backed by lithium-ion simplicity and national support.”
The Bobcat BNT Series is now available across Australia through Lift Equipt and authorised Bobcat Forklifts dealers.
