Qube Renwables is the newest business unit of listed firm Qube’s Logistics portfolio.

This announcement spotlights a “unique end-to-end logistics solution for companies investing in renewable energy” alongside subsidiary LCR Group.

“Qube, together with the wholly-owned entity LCR Group, is now able to provide an innovative and diverse service offering to companies investing in the construction and maintenance of hybrid renewable technologies,” the company notes.

“This new business unit combines Qube’s expertise with stevedoring, logistics and renewable solar handling, with LCR’s expertise in crane and lift hire, heavy haulage, and wind farm component logistics.

“The LCR renewable service includes liaising with manufacturers, contractual negotiations, crane hire, heavy haulage, erection, post-project agreements, maintenance, and storage.

“Qube Renewables, as part of the entire Qube network, has the distinct ability to manage inventory, vessel charter, global freight forwarding, and customs clearance, stevedoring, break-bulk and container handling, as well as warehousing, distribution, and storage.”

It spotlights previously completed projects such as the $850 million AGL – Coopers Gap Wind Farm – “Australia’s largest capacity wind farm”, in its capability statement.
