BTS21: Brisbane Truck Show goes virtual

The virtual experience will include interviews, product unveilings, the full manufacturers media tour and flyovers of the sites

In the week following the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show, an all-new international online event will take place from Monday, May 17 to Sunday, May 23, 2021

This virtual event will create a highly interactive experience to engage more with the brands you love and will be attended by visitors from home and abroad.

The pictures alongside this article were produced as a sample walk-through to illustrate how the experience would work for visitors exploring stands, and include walk (climb)-throughs of trucks. (Thanks to CMV in Adelaide for helping with our sample footage).

As you wander through each display, you will see a variety of clickable attachments, video interviews and more.

All exhibitors will feature on the maps, however, a selection of exhibitors have selected the all-out premium options, so you can really have some fun with those.

The event will be promoted to audiences from across international markets as well as be a home-grown record of the show.

With no other major international industry events taking place throughout 2020 and maybe even 2021, all eyes are on Brisbane.

The online version of the show will be particularly valuable for exhibitors with international customer bases, or aspirations to reach into overseas markets.

Of course, we know some Australian Truck Show regulars cannot make it to the show this year, and, likewise, attendees that have made it to the show might want a second look at the products on display.

The virtual experience allows visitors to walk around products and even climb into some trucks!

The event will feature interactive walk-throughs, guided tours, interviews and special features and has been developed as part of HVIA’s strategy to make the event CovidSafe for everybody.

At the time of publication, we are busy building content and virtual experiences for all visitors to explore. This includes:

•  A week of BTS TV video podcasts, webinars and product presentations

•  A flyover of the South Bank Truck Festival

•  A hosted video walk-through of the show

•  The full BTS21 Manufacturers Media tour

•  Walk arounds of all levels of the show and South Bank Truck Festival

•  The Civil Construction Field Days heavy equipment and machinery show

•  Product unveilings

•  Interviews with MDs, engineers and product designers from leading companies around the world

•  Interviews with BTS21 attendees

•  Live entertainment events.

Make sure you jump online in the week following the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show and explore the industry’s favourite show from a whole new perspective.
