Australia’s leading manufacturing industry event, National Manufacturing Week (NMW) will take place this year at the Sydney Showgrounds from May 11-13.
Held alternately between Sydney and Melbourne every year, the annual event will return to the showgrounds at the Sydney Olympic Park this year and will feature a range of industry ‘firsts’ to help propel the manufacturing industry into the future.
NMW 2016 will be co-located with the Safety First Conference & Expo which focuses on workplace safety solutions; as well as the international 3D printing event, the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo.
The global event will bring international knowledge and expertise on 3D printing to Australia to assist local companies make the most of the game changing technology.
Some international and local businesses that will be present at the showcase include Konica Minolta, Bilby 3D and Sydney 3D Printing which have all succeeded in utilising the technology to revolutionise manufacturing.
This year, NMW will house over 1000 products and services from some 200 companies from Europe, Asia and across Australia.
The event will feature 13 product zones including Additive Manufacturing, Automation and Robotics, Electrical, Engineering, Intralogistics, Welding Technology and more to help patrons better plan their visits to the show.
A series of free seminars will also be held over the three days which offer industry professionals opportunities to share their thoughts and ideas on hot-button manufacturing issues.
