NMW 2015 to feature over 200 brands
Over 200 companies have signed up to exhibit at this year's National Manufacturing Week in Melbourne.

The 200-plus brands will be strategically placed across 11 industry-specific product zones such as Automation & Robotics, Intralogistics, Welding, Digital Manufacturing and for the very first time – a new Advanced Materials section.

Among the new products visitors can look forward to inspecting at the event include:

  • Bosch Manufacturing Solutions’ improved Mechatronics unit for automated picking & placing, tightening, visioning, automated testing and more.
  • CGB Precision Products’ OAV Air Bearings that delivers lower friction, higher speed and lower torque with indefinite life and no heat generation at high speed.
  • Adept Turnkey’s new technique for inspecting products with a full 360 degree view.
  • Millsom Materials Handling’s new Jumbo Flex 50 vacuum lifter, designed for frequent, very fast movement of items weighing up to 50 kg.

Patrons can also expect to see a range of product demonstrations that include metal cutting, welding, product inspection, steel polishing, metal marking, heavy goods lifting and more.

"NMW has always been about opportunities to see and ask questions about industry innovations," says NMW 2015 exhibition director Anthony Reed.

"NMW 2015 is going to be a very busy event - with the demos running alongside presentations from industry experts, a full expo and thousands of industry visitors expected to attend."

Reed Exhibitions have also announced a program of speakers for this year's event, which visitors can attend for free. The presentations cover a range of subjects including leveraging technology for regional development, factories of the future, increasing productivity through energy efficiency and more.

NMW 2015 is co-located with Austech, the SMART Logistics conference and Australia's first complete safety event, the Safety First Conference & Expo.

All events will be held over the same duration at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Reed urges patrons to download NMW’s new online planning tool, MyEventPlanner to make the most out of their visit to the show.

"You can use the planning tool to connect with key contacts ahead of NMW 2015 - so you're a step ahead when the doors open on May 26 in Melbourne," he says.

NMW is a free event but is only open for trade visitors. Patrons can register online at NMW’s website for entry into the show.
