This Herless 11BU bench lathe is presented in excellent working condition. It has been checked, with no faults found. The bed ways are in very good order, showing minimal wear. This particular lathe has come from a school and, like most educational machines, shows little sign of use.
Herless was an Australian importer and supplier of Taiwanese-built workshop machinery from the 1970s through to the 2000s. The 11BU is a compact yet heavy-duty precision bench lathe commonly used in schools, toolrooms, and small maintenance workshops. Known for their robust construction and smooth operation, these machines feature dual metric and imperial dials, making them versatile for a wide range of precision turning applications.
