Crown launches counterbalance forklift

The Crown CD20-35NXP Diesel forklift is now available in Australia

Reliability, operator comfort and control are the key features of Crown Equipment’s new counterbalance pneumatic forklift, which has just arrived Down Under

Forklift manufacturer Crown Equipment has launched a new counterbalance pneumatic forklift to the Australian market, saying it is the perfect fit for small and medium sized businesses.

The CD20-35NXP Diesel is the first of Crown’s new C-DX series of forklifts to arrive in Australia, boasting a load capacity of 2,000-3,500kg and a lifting height of 7060mm.

Models in the C-DX Series also come with enhanced mast visibility due to their increased inner width and well-placed chain and hose locations, Crown says, as well as various safety features and easy serviceability thanks to its tool-less side covers and floor plates.

Equipped with a powerful 3.3L Tier III Yanmar diesel engine, the CD20-35NXP delivers honest torque, reliability and economy via a durable, rigid, one-speed powershift transaxle that help give it excellent ramp climbing ability, the company says.

Stylishly designed with generous leg room, its unique counterweight design also increases airflow to improve cooling capability in hot climates.

Additional weight mounted low in the truck helps absorb vibration while lowering the centre of gravity, that helps to increase stability and component life.

Crown Equipment marketing director for the Asia Pacific, David Sultana, says the company strives to provide its customers with quality products that are powerful and cost-efficient.

“The C-DX Series is a perfect fit for small- and medium-sized business applications and usage requirements,” he says.
