Polaris powers into generator market

The P1000i is the smallest model in Polaris' Power generator range, which the company says is lightweight and can power up basic appliances including TVs and laptops.

Off-road vehicle specialist Polaris has cracked the power market by releasing its very own range of portable digital inverter generators, specifically designed for outdoor use.

Polaris says its Power generator range, which comes in three models, are easy-to-use and provide hours of clean, quiet inverted power for a stable level of voltage anytime.

The units – P1000i, P2000i and P3000iE provide maximum AC outputs of 1000 watts, 2000 watts and 3000 watts respectively. The P1000i weighs in the lightest, which makes it ideal for transporting around to power up small appliances such as TVs and laptops.  It has a 10 hour running time at 25 per cent load, making it a fuel efficient generator to run.

The mid-range P2000i caters to most outdoor electrical needs and weighs 24.18kg. It also has a 10 hour running time at 25 per cent load, duel 240V outlets and one 12V DC outlet.

Polaris syas the heavy duty P3000iE can tackle all outdoor electrical needs as well as act as a standby power source during storm outages. It offers a run time of over 21 hours at 25 per cent load. It also features locking wheels and sturdy handles for ease of transportation.

Prices for the units start from $899 and are now available via Polaris dealers nationwide.
