New range of Armour safety glasses from Ugly Fish

Working on the premise that it’s difficult to find a pair of comfortable, form fitting safety glasses that won’t break the bank, Ugly Fish has released its Armour range of shatterproof eyewear.

Certified to the Australian Safety Standards, the glasses feature ‘polycarbonate decentered safety lenses’, which Ugly Fish says eliminate distortion and prevent distracting magnification.

The lenses, which have an anti-fog/anti-scratch coating, are also available in polarised and photochromic form.

“The Armour comes with a detachable ventilated positive seal, which has the ability to shelter your eyes from harsh winds, dust and other air-born particles on the worksite, making them a no brainer for Aussie workers,” the company says.

The frames, it adds, match the lenses when it comes to toughness. Designed for maximum impact resistance and use in harsh environments, the TR-90 wraparound sports frames are highly flexible, stress resistant and lightweight.

The Ugly Fish safety range is made for use in all industrial and trade environments, including construction, manufacturing, landscaping, mechanical, automotive and mining applications.

Recommended retail pricing is $34.95 for the Armour, $64.95 for the Armour Polarised, and $69.95 for the Armour Photochromic.
