Global industrial solutions provider Atlas Copco has launched its newest range of oil injected rotary screw compressors, the GA 90+-160 range that the company says has been designed to reduce operating costs while achieving optimum productivity.
The company says the new range, which is packaged in a new and enhanced design offers up to 5 per cent improved performance compared to its previous generations.
According to Atlas Copco, the new GA air compressors can perform in all demanding operating conditions and in temperatures of up to 55 degrees Celsius.
The new range features the Elektronik and Smartlink control and monitoring systems which the company says allow operators to optimise compressor operation and reduce operating costs.
Atlas Copco oil-free air division president Chris Lybaert says customers have always been the company’s number one priority when developing its products.
“But there is more we can offer: serviceability, ease of installation, integration and monitoring,” he says.
“The new GA 90+-160 is another great example that our expertise lead to tangible benefits.”
In addition to the smart control systems, the range also carries a number of energy saving features such as the IE3 motor, the no-loss water separator drain, an energy recovery module and in-build dryers.
The integrated dryer concept is designed to deliver clean, dry air to improve the process’ reliability and increase energy savings.
